The Chapin 8701B Garden Seeder removes the back strain from garden planting. Designed with a durable powder-coated steel frame, poly seed hopper, six interchangeable seed plates that accommodate 20 seed types, and a wide rear wheel that replaces and pats the soil. The seeder plows and places the seeds at the appropriate intervals without jamming. It also features an adjustable row marker, which you can set and follow for the correct spacing of the next row. In properly cultivated soil, the seeder easily plows, plants cover, and pats the soil over with each pass.

• MARK, PREP, PLACE, COVER: do all four by simple pushing the seeder; marks the row, plows the row with the zinc plow blade, places the seeds and covers the row, with the wide rear wheel, as you walk through your garden
• ROW MARKER: adjustable rotating wheel row marker provides correct width for the next row; fully customizable depending on the type of seeds being planted; set it before starting if youre planting the same seeds and adjust when switching to a new seed
